Congenital CMV is the leading cause of congenital infections in newborns worldwide and can lead to significant morbidity, mortality, or long-term consequences. Purpose — demonstrate results screening for cytomegalovirus infection pregnant women children first months life illustrate a clinical case severe difficulties selecting specific therapy. Materials methods. The article presents retrospective analysis testing 302 at living Zaporozhye region. presence CMV-specific immunoglobulin G (IgG) M (IgM) antibodies was assessed.
